Manaslu Region Region
The Manaslu Region, located in north-central Nepal, is home to the majestic 8,163-meter Mount Manaslu, the eighth-highest mountain in the world. Known for its untouched beauty and authentic Himalayan culture, the region offers a quieter and less-crowded trekking experience than the popular Everest and Annapurna routes. Trekkers journey through spectacular river gorges, remote Tibetan Buddhist villages, lush forests, and high alpine landscapes before crossing the challenging Larkya La Pass (5,106m). With its breathtaking scenery, rich cultural heritage, and sense of wilderness, the Manaslu Region is one of Nepal’s most rewarding trekking destinations.
